I got an email about another interview I did. You might want to check it out. When you get to the page, look for "Shockwaves". You'll find it there.

Or, I think this gets you right to the page.

Yes, great interview indeed.

Too many interviews end up focusing those Hendrix/LSD things too much in my opinion. Although they may be interesting for people who have not found Frank's music yet. But this interview sure was interesting.

Heh, funny story about that Frank-Jimi thing... I went boozing to a rock club (On The Rocks) in Helsinki last saturday with my friends and the dj was playing some really cool songs non stop. Well, I decided to give him some feedback and told him I liked his choises but told him that if he wanted to prove that he was a real dj, he should play whether Frank Marino or Frank Zappa. Well, he instantly pulled out "Dragonfly" -collection and gave me nice grin. Too bad he "only" chose to play All Along The Watchtower and not Frank's own tunes but it seriously made me happy anyway. I had a great time playing air guitar on the dance floor... :P Some chick walked up to me and asked if I knew who originally recorded that song. I had fun educating her that it was not actually Jimi's own song and that this particular artist was Frank etc.

I think that was the first time I heard Frank's music to be played in a rock night club.

Oh well, I got sidetracked pretty badly once again. Please forgive me...

Wow! This was long and great reading at the same time. Good to see more and more exposure and attention finally coming your way since Real Live. No other musician in the planet is more deserved than you Frank. PS: Have something for you next time you drop in. TONY

That WAS a good interview! VERY well written. It flowed nicely and made you want to read the whole thing, even though it was long.

Enjoyed it Frank. Thanks for posting the link!

That was really interesting and informative. And funny...
"So this kind of 'competitiveness' trickles down and it starts to become very uncomfortable if you're a group like us. It kind of feels like you've been invited over for dinner but you're not really that welcomed."

I don't know why, but I got a belly laugh outta that.
