I can guarentee you that you willnot get a cheap hotel room anywhere near the HOB, unless of course you happen to find an old fleabag hotel. If you find one of them you might want to bring protection with you.
You're best bet is to go to a website like Expedia to find the best rate.

Nothing against HOB or Chicago, both of which I love. However, the Friday night show in Milwaukee is looking very nice at Potawatami Casino. Very nice small theatre setting, a weekend night, and I was able to get a room about a mile away at the Courtyard by Marriott for $60 through Priceline. Plus, the downtown shuttle service provides a 5 minute ride from the hotel directly to the casino, eliminating having to drive. Even if you do drive, the casino has plenty of free parking. Hopefully I will see some of you Chicago fans, there is always a lot of Chicago people who come to Milwaukee when the Cubs are in town. My wife is coming with me this time, the show is near our anniversary and we are taking a long weekend in Milwaukee! Coming from our hometown of Dubuque, IA, Milwaukee is a big city, however we always meet nice people there and have a great time. Dubuque has become one of Iowa's best tourist attractions, with great development and activities near the Mississippi River. I can't wait for Friday the 13th!!

Well I got four tickets to the potawatomi casino show. I'm a little confussed though, first I selected table seating, N/A came up, so then I selected best available.....then it says General Admission........
Looks like I'll have to call and see what's up with that.

I kNOW! :x That kinda freaked me out too! There's a seating chart for Potawatomi on the site so there I am all ready to JUMP on tickets as soon as they go on sale. I'm hitting REFRESH.... REFRESH.... REFRESH... over and over waiting for the words next to Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush to change from MORE INFO to FIND TICKETS. I've got the little seating chart up on another screen to see what I end up getting. I'm already thinking about posting the seats I get and asking everyone else what seats they got to see if anyone is around me. My heart is racing, I'm right there. I gotta get good seats! AAAHHH!!!! COME ON!! CHANGE! CHANGE! CHANGE! And.....IT DOES!! Okay! Now QUICK, put in the number of tickets I want, type that stupid word  and..........GENERAL ADMISSION pops up! HUH?? What the?? LOL! There I was getting all worked up because I wanted to get some close up seats, and it ends up being general admission.  LOL!

Well.....I guess I'll see you all in line waiting to get into the venue!
 :winky
