Glad you had a great time and again felt the magic, Frank.
I have to tell you, with all those gigs on consecutive nights, I was wonderin' a bit and worried about how your fingers might hold up. But it sounds like you just put it out of your mind and went with the flow.
Now it's time to do it all again here in the states.

Thanks as always for the wonderful update Frank... As you get older you need to use the Nolan Ryan trick for avoiding blisters.... Soak your digits in pickle brine, it works!!! Of course easing into it helps as well with the odd day off.
Will be back when/if something new to discuss......

re: Diary of the U.K. Tour....
Frank,
glad you enjoyed your time over here in the uk, i was at the nuneaton gig
and just wanted you to know what an amazing experience to finally see you do a full show. have seen you a couple of times before, at port vale football ground in 81 and on the legends tour in 02 where i was lucky enough to meet you and you signed all my old mahogany rush LP's
3 hours seemed to fly by, by the end me and my wife Alex ears were
ringing, what a great souvenir from the gig!
Please come back soon Frank, all your fans here in the UK will always be glad to see you.
Best Wishes to you and the Family.
Mark.

keith aka Juggernaut1 -
you should be rewarded with a lifetime's supply of your favourite ale as Frank credits you with giving him the impetus to carry on and have faith in what he was doing when he was here on the legends tour 2002.
all hail keith, the mighty gentle giant from belfast, and his fabulous wife adele who keeps him (somehow!!) on planet earth!!
love to you both, (and the rest of the board too)

Frank, thanx for sharing your diary!! Glad to see you all had a good time..
and what makes it special to me is the contact between the band, the fans and everyone who used to be there. It must have been great experience to all.
I hope your blisters are recovering; in my opinion the blistes means that the next European tour must take much longer like you said. Good to read you mentioned Holland....you know how i think about that!
Proud to be a Mahogany Rush-fan.......smallie :headbanger
P.S Did you read the Marinofest-thread like Lori mentioned ?

With this message board I have been a "part" of the UK tour even though I am thousands of miles away. Thank you Frank for posting your diary. I think you need to play the acoustic everyday around the house so those calluses don't go away. :clap

Frank, great to get your insight on the tour, I saw you at Southampton and Nuneaton - both shows rocked!! I did mention in my review of the Southampton gig that I wondered how your fingers managed to do what they do for 5 nights in a row - now I know; they blister! A man who truly suffers for his art. Come back soon.

It is always great to hear the fans give their review of seeing Frank and the band. It was especially great to read what Frank had to say about the tour, as you just don't get that kind of perspective anywhere else.
Thanks very much for taking the time to put that tour diary together, Frank. It was most enjoyable to read.
Here's hoping all of those tour opportunities come through, and we have plenty of chances to see you guys yet this year!

Yes, thanks Frank for filling us all in on your UK trip. Your one of a kind, more artists could learn from you. Now we gotta get you back in the states so us poor souls who missed the East coast shows can get a taste.
