It's a conspiracy against you personally, JJ!!!!

Seriously, the new remasters are pretty awesome sounding. I listened to all of them in the car today while driving. It's almost like having 3 new CDs added to the FM&MR catalog! :headbanger

Plugged 'em in and BLAMO!! how awsome they sound. Most if not all Remastered cd's sound like they did nothing but raise the volume up.
These babes sound like they were recorded yesterday. Good job Frank, well worth the time and effert you put into them.

I recently purchased the updated 3rd album, "Strange Universe", and was immediately impressed with the sound quality.
The use of the studio equipment by Frank and Billy Szawlowski on this album is impressive -- especially on "Land of 1000 Nights." The sounds captured for the song by these guys, and the mix, is incredible! The guitars racing from one speaker to another, the sound of the dums, etc... It is one of the heaviest songs I have ever heard, and that's a good thing!

I am now the proud owner of all three of the re-masters above.

I would like to thank Frank for all the effort that has gone into making these albums sound so fantastic on CD.They are wonderful and the three albums are essential albums which should be in all classic rock collections.
In the past Frank was criticised for the Hendrix thing.Looking at Maxoom it was only made in 1973 three years after Jimi died. What do you expect??

Why not be influenced by the greatest guitarist ever. All music is derivative now.
Listening to those three treats (Oh how I wish for posters of the artwork) you can tell Jimi was an influence but Frank had his own style from the word go and his jazzy bits are truly fuckin cool!

All hail the SG man!!

Oh yeah, was fired up to see that the new cd's have the text writen into it. Meaning if your cd player shows text, you will see the name of the song go rolling past on the screen. Insted of it saying Track 1, etc.
